Refunds, Transfers & Cancelations
The Decatur Park District encourages individuals to carefully plan their schedules before registering for classes or activities. Refunds will not be issued if the cancelation is received 4 business days or fewer before the class/activity is scheduled to begin.
1. If you must cancel a class, call 217/429-3472 five business days before the class starts. You may choose from the following options:
- Transfer to another class
- Leave money on household account
- Receive a refund
2. A minimum of $8 service charge will be assessed on all refunds, excluding the following:
- Illness excused by a doctor stating the specific reason the person is unable to participate, received no later than 2 weeks after the start date of the class.
- Class cancelations by the Decatur Park District.
3. Your patience is appreciated, as refunds may take 3 - 4 weeks to process.
